We stayed in the Bear Cabin for a week in September. We had a wonderful time exploring Yellowstone National Park. After a day of hiking and exploring, it was so wonderful to come "home" to relax and cook dinner. Cooking breakfast and dinner in the cabin saves our family of six a lot of money, and it is so much easier with the children instead of restaurants. There was plenty of room for us and our 4 kids. The older kids loved being able to play outside in the evenings and we could keep an eye on them from the windows! It was also nice to do laundry while we were there (so we did not even need to check our luggage, saving more money). Loved it and would recommend it!

We rented the cabin "Bison Home" for four nights and four people. The Bison home has all necessary utilities and furniture for 4 adults or family with kids, and at the same time gives an authentic impression of living like a pioneer explorers. The home was cozy and comfortable. It felt to us and our guests from Moscow (Russia) like living at a "dacha" - a summer cabin in the woods that many Russians have. The most important for us were simple things, such as fresh air, ability to open windows and smell of the woods, quiet nights, comfortable couch and chairs in the living room, and fully equipped kitchen. The location was perfect for exploring the Yellowstone Park, and to live comfortably. We got home late at night almost every day due to traffic in the Park, nonetheless, the restaurants and grocery store were still open, so we were able to have a dinner, and buy things for breakfast next morning. We enjoyed staying at Bison Home. Thank you very much, Cynthia!

Bear Cabin was the perfect place for our family. Slept 7 comfortably. Large kitchen allowed us to easily have some of our meals in. Two bathrooms were a must. Manager Cynthia was friendly, kind, and accommodating.

We were fortunate to get the Bison Home for the last minute idea for Yellowstone. My son wanted to camp! I wanted a bed and running water. We compromised and loved the Bison Home. It's a 2 bedroom with a full kitchen. It also had a covered patio where we could watch the storm go thru. It was perfect for us but some might prefer one of the other more spacious and more "stuff"! If you get to meet Cynthia, John and Ryder you are fortunate. They gave us all kinds of suggestions for our hikes etc and a cuddle with Ryder was awesome!

This was GREAT for our rather large mixed group of adults and children. There's a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, dishwasher etc. We got some food at the local grocery store when we saw how expensive the restaurants were, and we were able to cook it up there. We got a huckleberry pie in West Yellowstone and it was seriously the best pie I've ever had, FYI. Check-in was easy, as was check-out. Remember that you probably won't have service in the park, so if you need to communicate with the office you should contact them before you enter the park! The office was a little difficult to locate- it's back behind the cabins, you have to walk down a little path. The only problem we had was how CRAZY expensive the place was. You pay through the nose, but it's a nice place!

Seven family members and I stayed in the Fox Cabin. It is newer with all the amenities you need, including 2 full baths, 3 bedrooms, full kitchen and living room. We didn't feel like we were missing anything and it felt like a nice, new, clean home. We would definitely stay there again the next time we visit Yellowstone if we have a group as big as we did this time. It is super close to the west gate of the park and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants.
